About Ventura County Haulers
A free, local referral service. We don't haul or move items ourselves.
Who we are
Ventura County Haulers is a free referral service for homeowners and property owners in Ventura County, California. We are not a hauling or moving company, and we do not perform hauling or moving ourselves. When you send us a request, we connect you with an independent local junk removal or moving provider who serves your area, and that provider contacts you directly. Before booking, ask the provider for proof of insurance and any state permit required for the work, such as the permit California requires for household goods movers, and get the price in writing.
Why we exist
Finding a good junk removal or moving provider can take a lot of phone calls. Search results are crowded with national lead brokers, and it is hard to tell who actually works in Ventura County. Our goal is simple: publish genuinely useful local information about junk removal, cleanouts, and local moves, and give you one easy way to reach a local provider without being passed around to a dozen companies.
How the referral works
- Tell us what you need. Share your city, what needs to go (or move), and a few details.
- We connect you. We pass your request to one independent local provider who serves your area.
- Get a written price. The provider confirms details, often from photos, and gives you a price.
- You decide. Book only if it works for you. No obligation.
What we promise, and what we don't
- Using this site is free for you. Providers, not homeowners, support the service.
- We share your request with one independent local provider, not a long list of companies.
- We do not do the work, set prices, or guarantee any provider's work. The provider you hire is responsible for its license, permits, insurance, estimate, and workmanship.
- We don't publish fake reviews, invented statistics, or made-up credentials.
Protect yourself when hiring
Ask for a written estimate that explains how the price is calculated (by volume, weight, hours, or a flat rate), confirm the provider carries insurance, and for household moves ask for the state household goods carrier permit and verify it with the state before you book. Ask how items will be disposed of, recycled, or donated, and never pay the full amount before the work is done.
